one week as a foster mom

a week ago anna came back home with a tiny puppy she had found crying on a road. not more than three weeks old she was when we took her in and gave her a foster home. apparently she was put in a bag with her siblings and left somewhere outside, got out of there and was lucky to be rescued.

she was named after baghira from the jungle book. we got her milk, cookies and puppyfood and gave her lots of love and shelter. she slept in our bed next to or on us changing places during the night. i woke up many times to her crying and took her out or to toilet to pee, gave her food or played with her. the very first time she went to the toilet she pooped near the drain ! 👊 good girl, though she peed a couple of times on our bed too.

she met a lot of people, mostly the other guests from our place but also random people from the restaurants or people passing and stopping to say hi to her. everyone who met her gave her love and the feeling of being safe.

leo, mila, hannah, baghira and matthew

she learned new things everyday, for example how to climb the stairs, how to jump and run. everyday she became more playful and brave to explore her surroundings. anna was worried weather she'd survive after we leave, and was looking for a place for her. on saturday she heard about an indian family that's willing to take her. sunday they met and monday she was gone.. take care baghira, stay strong and receive the love u get from your new family. you'll always be in my heart baby girl. ♡

choices and decisions

i recently read an article (http://markmanson.net/fuck-yes) about decision making. if it isn't "fuck yes", it should be "no". i don't completely agree with that, because i'm an open minded and open hearted person and i want to experience different things and different people but at the same time i might want to do other things instead. so even if i don't feel like fuck yes at the time, it could become fucking awesome, so i give it a try.

this time my choices are bigger than usual. i could rent a house with anna for reeally cheap price. it's a two story building, downstairs live 4 indian women and there's a kitchen we can use, we would have the second floor with three bedrooms in which two of them have bathrooms, and a big balcony and a roof top. we could decorate it and make it comfy. we should also buy a scooter for food shopping purposes.

i like the idea of having our own place but it's not a fuck yes for me. i love staying in mango guest house and here i get to do the things i came here to do and more. i love the energy here and my room. i will start working here at some point.

i suggested anna i could do both, have two rooms and do my artistic stuff at mango. or at least see how it goes for the first week or so. the problem is, we'd have to sign a contract for four months and commit to paying the monthly rent, plus buy all the chairs and tables etc and if i didn't hang out there much she wouldn't want to have it. any houstons out there with great ideas? guess i just have to listen to myself and not anyone else. hope all goes well.

rock'n'rolls dogs had puppies and we went to see them yesterday.

no plans is the best plan

here is why i don't like to make so much plans. chances are they are not what your soul would like to do at that moment. and if we go strictly according to the plans, chances are we feel offended when others don't. i like more spontanious things, doing the ideas we get in the present.

for example the evening walk to the beach and back. sooooo many spontanious acts happened while doing that.

so we didn't do any yoga yesterday. i couldn't sleep until after 4am. full moon, so many new ideas and lots of positive energy in me, or which ever the reason, so i danced, streched, read, wrote, played guitar and sang. i woke up and practiced my songs. i went to buy fruits for breakfast. the plan was already changed, not kollam but varkala town. so we went to get some paints and other stuff and indian sim card for me. then i met annas other love from varkala, liz, who also knows vanessa and we had a small business meeting. then i had my own time doing all those things above again.

in the evening we went to celebrate one russian mans birthday. so many families and we played with the kids with vanessa almost the whole time! it was like a fantasy battlefield, the boys had balloon swords and we fought without touching and one of the girls, so shy and pretty, played a witch, or some magic woman, it was awesome to observe how different each an everyone of those kids were and how they needed to be noticed and played with. no language needed in the world of children. experinced this i got another business idea or two.

wanna work in india? this is the place to be

my ideas are getting real!!!

i can not believe my luck! so i stay at mango house, vanessas resort, and the neighbourghood is awesome! next door to the right is vanessa, who helps me with anything and knows a lot about things i'm interested in. also she has so many businesses going on and they are all amazing.

then there's victoria, from russia, who's here for ayurvedic treatment and works with vanessa to get more people for the ayrvedic treatment holidays.

another one from russia, andrei, is a reiki healer, who's going to teach in a five day reiki course. definitely going to participate!

so when i got back from breakfast, we had a hang out moment with all of above, plus sunny (vanessas man), and ali (another local). also silvia from italy stopped by. vanessaa showed me the roof and i told her i could do yoga here, and we made up with the idea of sessa's sunset yoga. tomorrow is my first practice.

mango house is going to open a restaurant here also, and i said i could do smoothies after yoga here. so we made up the idea of sessa's smoothie corner, or bar. probably too many sessa's, but u get the point.

some how a word had gone out that i play guitar (i might have mentioned myself), and we made up with the idea of playing duets with vanessa. the guys (sunny and ali) got me a guitar (big black one!!!), so now i dont have to worry about buying one.

the night got an awesome ending when all of us hang out on vanessas terrace with candles, listening to good music and dancing, in honor to vanessas brother. after that we went for an evening walk down to the beach, each of us having a moment with the ocean. then we walked back dancing at times while i played some music from my phone.

tomorrow we are having yoga at 7am (by victoria), at 10am (by andrei) and sunset yoga by me. during the day we will go to kollam to look for decoration to the restaurant. also i'm getting me an indian number (already have an old nokia), and maybe some shorts. or some clothes whatsoever. and some fruits to start goofing around with mixing smoothies!

all of this is unbelievable, sooooooo amazing. and i just got back yesterday. full of good energy this place i tell ya. ♡ ,\/,,

5.11. just got itself a name of my lucky day. and i'm so happy to share my day with my dear friend, an amazing woman and a beautiful mother of my beautiful godson daniel, marianne, and also my dear ex-colleague marjas beautiful 1yo baby sohvi. muchos besos on your birthday 😙

i love u varkala

this morning i woke up at nine, finished my packing and took a riksha to the ferry, a ferry to the city and another riksha to the trainstation. met a finnish girl ella there and came with her to varkala, my home town for the next couple of months. the train was fully booked except for 15 seats when i 1 or 2 days ago bought the tickets, so we got seats in an airconditioned room (what??). 4,5 hour trip cost us 500 (6e) rupees each and an extra 1,5 hours, cause the train was both late and slow. we got nothing but time so doesnt matter.

the english healer girl, vanessa picked us up from varkala town to her guest house near the cliffs, and i'll stay here at least till saturday (when anna comes!!!) we share a room with ella this night at first, and later see what happens. one time anna mentioned something about a house we'd rent. i would also prefer living near garden bistro. and on december i'll probably want to move to khalkhals place that's closer to the shore and in the middle of nature ♡ there's also a kitchen we can use to teach me to cook vegan indian food!!

pretty tired from all the sitting but i'm so happy to be back. i love this place! ♡♡♡

by the way. (the other day) i bought a new pair of slippers, found my old pair, broke my bluetooth stereo (the part where u load it) oh yeah and left my shorts in goa. way to go me, this is being careless, or carefree to me.

peace ♡

what goes up must come down

after 10 days in goa, kochi has been the downtime for us. comparing those two places and the time spent there, we were definitely up in heaven in goa. it was beautiful, peaceful, friendly, social, fun, deep. full power and relaxing. last nights were so nice we had too little sleep, so it was a good thing to come down from the clouds.

four days in kochi has given us time to be just the two of us, and a chance to be excited about the next days. and this is extremely positive thinking (that is because there was nothing to do and no one we wanted to spend time with, sso pretty boring four days). tessas flight leaves at 10pm tonight and she'll be home tomorrow at 3pm. and back to work on wed. i'm going back to varkala tomorrow, and beginning what i came here to do.

no plans, but the plan is to stay in varkala at least for two months, probably four, so if anyone feels a desire to come to south india, stop by! varkala is awesome ! ,\/,,

six nites in prison

soooooo.. where to start.. time spent in the prison hostel was priceless. awesome people, awesome
atmosphere. the most we hung out with brasilians (paulo and jaime) before they left, then with locals (max and babal who worked there and johan) and australians (mitch, jack and dom). we went gokarting (?!?), clubbing (lilliput, anjuna >> kaiku, helsinki), and most of the time just hang out in the hostel. we had everything we needed there. and some more.

lilliput was sooo great! the first night there me and tessa danced like crazy for four hours, we were the number one fans of the djs, dancing in front of them almost the whole time high fiving and tenning, showing hearts with hands and bowing to them. the music was aaaawesome, better than anywhere in finland i've been.

not a day sober in goa i'll tell u that (probably shouldn't have), yet i had such great days, moments and nights. good memories.
