My first week in Byron Bay was the last week of holidays in Australia. While Becs was working or out with friends, I hung out with the kids, either at the house, at her work, at the pools - we went there one day by scooties and a longboard and all of us were carrying so many things it was so funny (and I took the GoPro with and let the kids do some underwater filming as well) - and while she wasn’t, some of her friends stopped by for a chill.
On Thursday we celebrated Australia day (which is not a happy story from the Native’s side) and I told my new Byron Bay family adults that today I can party with yous but that’s it, I need to focus on my work - and they were really happy about it. The kids were at their aunt’s so us adults were free. We had a kids’ swimming pool in the front yard and we were switching sunglasses and hats whenever someone said switch (there really were no rules I just made that up) and we messed around out there for a few hours until we took the party inside and the backyard. People came and went (not too many tho) and we had one crazy day ey. Beers, boobs and dancing and so loud talks that even the neighbours told us about it. Oops. We were done by ten, though Sam and I went for a walk to town to see what’s up but I wasn’t feeling energetic enough for a bar so we only got something to eat, walked a bit on the beach, witnessed a romantic session on the beach and walked back to Becs'.
On the weekend Sam and I went to a waterfall and swam there, I had my GoPro there as well. There were a lot of people swimming and chilling out, enjoying the day. Also we did a “family” trip to the beach on Sunday, so Becs, Kanaia, Taran and Janey and I. We also happened to see the kids’ dad there and for a moment all of us were jumping in the waves with two GoPros. I got some nice material while playing in the sand, looking for shells and cool stones. I tried finding some in the cave at the waterfall as well but I guess the pirates got em all. ;)
The other night while I went out by myself (my first night out), I had my laptop with me. I was on my way to the Beach Hotel - which is an awesome place to have drinks, lunch or chill or whatever - for there was a reggae night on Mondays. I felt like going out there so I did what I do these days and went with my intuition. I saw a gorgeous graffiti made by nitsüa on a wall at a crossroads and I wanted to take pictures of it. In front of it was a beautifully painted bench so I put my stuff there and got creative. I ended up sitting and writing on the bench about an hour, looking around and connecting with people that passed by that were on the same page. One travel agent gave me a ticket for a free meal six times a week, if I go to their bar before 8. Every night there's something going on for example Twerk Off -competition on Tuesdays, Wet T-shirt contest on Thursdays, Paint Party, Beer Bong.. Too bad I'm not a party girl anymore. Special occasions and private party only... hahah just kidding, my focus is on other things like creating my future. The right people will find me when the timing is right. Until then I'll do my homework.
Sorry, the story continues. So after writing my future book and blog a bit, I figured I should go and check out the reggae night, go dance a little. I had just eaten a paleo bar that gave me some energy, also I was a bit thirsty so I needed water as well. I tried to figure out which way I should go, and passed by a bus stop where I saw two older men hanging out with luggage, the other one sleeping. I felt I needed to stay here a bit now and sat there and chilled, trying to feel the vibe and share some of mine. The sleeping one looked like a Native to me, also I've been wanting to get closer to the Natives anyway. The one that was awake, seemed to be a pirate - just painting the picture here - his family had been around for 300 years. But as we were chatting there, he told me that his grandad had fallen in love with a mermaid (soul level) - so this life has been different now. The pirate and I didn't talk much of the deep stuff before the Native woke up, but from that moment on begun the strangest hour of my life. He told me about his past lives, his past this life, Byron Bay 30 years ago, that his this life will be his last life on Earth, and I was very excited about hearing all these things so I also asked many questions like can he see spirits and he said yes, are they good or bad (didn't answer).. At times his eyes looked like umm.. not angelic at all I'd say the opposite and a bit scary even, but he was gifted with a spirit sight, and was also an alcoholic - he told me about his family, that he hadn't seen them in a looong time because he couldn't tell his son what he was. I think I said something like if you want to go see them and want support, I'd love to join you. He also mentioned that this life will be his last life and when I said so how are you gonna change the world, he said he's not interested in that, that he's just passing through. I thought yeah I'm gonna get him to teach about his gifts, but that's not important at this time.
While I was there talking to the possibly homeless men (or travellers), one soul-on-fire -looking guy passes by. He's looking at me, the two men and what's going on, comes back and shakes my hand with a huge smile on his face and goes away. Quite fascinated about the scene we've created to other people who witness that, we continue our talks. The guy (Scorpio) passes by again, comes to shake my hand but this time I won't let go but ask his name. We all share a conversation in which I tell them about one of my ideas what I'd want to do with kids and he gives me a name of a place called Future Friends that could be interested in me and my ideas. He told me to come down to the beach the next day or stop by at Future Friends. I didn't do either the next day, for I was hanging out with Taran, writing blog and dancing at home, so I didn't see him at the beach, but I'll definitely will go look for the place he mentioned. (I just now tried googling it and Future Dreams showed up so maybe it was that one, sometimes I don't hear or understand what these english speakers are saying...)
Now I don't remember if there was the third man already when this Scorpio guy stopped by, but he was one wtf kind of guy. So this man comes to the bus stop, I figured he's a friend of the other two, because he was acting a little weird. He's holding his phone and he has head phones around his neck. He's a little restless I could tell by his movements and he says that he's looking for aliens. Now me being very interested in stuff like this, of course I wanted to participate and he showed this App or I don't know a program in where he was getting messages from ET's :D The messages were words on the screen - some weird, some names - that he tried to understand and explain if he himself understood what they might have meant. To me the whole situation - me showing up and stopping at the bus stop and all that happened - was something I felt I needed a minute to take in and I told them that I'm gonna go to check out the reggae night now. The ET guy was also going somewhere so we shared the walk. He stopped at other homeless men on the street and I introduced myself to them and after a chat I continued my night out. I didn't feel like dancing or going to the bar anymore so I just passed the place and went home.
On Monday was Kanaia's first school day and I was with Taran the whole day, except for the part when we came to Green Garage to play and write. On Tuesday Becs had to work early so I made them breakfast and lunch for Kanaia, and me and Taran took her to school. On Wednesday Taran too started his daycare and in the mornings I have had free time this week I've been dancing, stretching, planning on my future creations and getting some tree healing (that has become one of my specialities haha). I've hung out with Becs a lot and from friends we've become sisters, for all I know we used to be sisters before, and with trust comes love so, there's already love there. Yesterday she was laughing at me, for her workmate had asked me why do I hang out with this crazy person, to which I said "She's my sister, f**k off" but with a cheeky grin. She heard this from the lady I was buying stuff from that told her she loves me :DD Also when I come here (writing there at the moment) for the wifi, I do some weird stuff for example lie down and give myself reiki while listening to something on my laptop or stretch while doing that.
Pieces of my future goals are finding their places and getting together in mysterious ways, and the month of February will be the month of changes, visualising myself for example teaching TreeHealing Yoga to Becs and the other ladies in my Byron Bay life. Already found the perfect spot to do that just behind the house I'm living in. Investing in fixing Becs' van and getting it on the road will open new doors and windows for me and if this daily body treatment thing continues - seems very unlikely not to, for there's so many gym things at home, this morning we had our big gym balls aired and carried, bounced and played around all the way through the town to the beach where we did some stretches and other things on them before we took a wavejump and carried them home again. I looooove this new active energy in me. Hello February I love you already.
Enjoy yours and have an awesome weekend wherever you are. Take advantage of what you already got and embrace who you are. For you are unique <333 Lots of love and I hope the gym fly (they don't bite do they) will bite you too XX
